Software engineer at Synaptic. I go deep on backend, distributed systems and databases, and I care about what the system does for the people using it. I own Portfolio IQ's customer-facing app, data collection, MCP server and in-house BI engine, and cut page loads 87% on a 900M-row Postgres. Outside work I ship Walcast, Postgres CDC for Node on npm, and Gatecrash, which runs an entire event offline off one Raspberry Pi.
